Shikha was born and brought up in New Delhi, India but she has always been influenced by the flair and the force of a world unfettered by borders and unbound by territories. She went to the United States in March 1999 to pursue a degree in Masters of Business Administration from Rochester, NY. Her major was Marketing and after graduating she started working with Campbell Soup Co. as Associate Marketing Manager. In 2003, she decided to come back to India and continued working in Marketing and Advertising. All through this time though, she sought her true calling. It was at her last job with Avon Beauty Products that she realized her individual belief in the beauty of giving and her passion to empower people by making them look and feel their best. Her passion for make-up was fuelled and she recognized that make-up artistry was her bona fide heart felt inspiration.

She listened to her heart and gave her dreams the guidance they needed. She joined MKC Beauty Academy located in Los Angeles, CA in March 2007 and was trained by renowned Hollywood make-up artists including the international make-up artist and author Margaret Kimura. Her specialities include Beauty, Bridal, Fashion, and Print make-up.

She uses her hands to communicate and evoke the inner beauty of every person. For her, make-up is an art of making people not only look beautiful but also feel beautiful. She has the skill to transcribe the latest beauty trends and put them to use for the woman next door. Her passion for make-up and beauty is as infectious as her warm and pleasant persona
